Ok, we're going to depart from the usual, overly competitive nature of the music “business” because - and this cannot be overstated - everyone helps get you where you are. It doesn't matter if you're a veteran player or a fresh new face, friends help friends. Our community is small, tight and (sometimes) clique-y, but, if you take a moment to support those who support you, everyone wins in the long run - and isn't that what “community” is supposed to be all about?
We're all playing for the same reasons - we love live music. So let's take a moment and remember that friendship is about building up, not tearing down and there's plenty of audience to go around.
