TESTIMONIALS from our fans...
When I first came to Pelee Island as a CBSA officer I was introduced to a band at the Westview Tavern by the name of J# Major. It was love at first sound. Their slogan “playing the soundtrack of our lives” just begins to illuminate what this band is all about. If you were ever the guy ( or gal) who yearned for a night alone in your parents basement to listen to the latest releases from your favourite progressive rock bands to teleport you away to that familiar place where you are just a conveyance for the music than this band is for you. Many summers have come and gone since that first time, but each one is marked by Canada Day and Labour Day weekend when J# comes to the island. This past summer I was so excited when my days off aligned perfectly with each and every night J# played. I requested to my Chief “cut and paste this schedule for next year”. Recently I discovered that J#Major had released an album in 2021 of original works entitled “Songs of Light and Shadow”. It has been a long time since I had played an album from start to finish just to start it again. It is a new progressive rock release in 2025 for me, what could be more joyful than that ? Keep up the good work guys. You are more rare than you know.

I had J#Major play at a fundraiser this past Sunday. Myself and the crowd were blown away with the amazing full band sound this talented group put out. The Pink Floyd medley was probably the best Floyd I've heard live in Windsor. Amazingly talented musicians all!
Mike Osborne, Ozz Entertainment
Heard them play for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have been spreading the word ever since! Support live music. Thanks to the band for doing what you do!

The one band I crave to hear all summer! Can't praise them and their sound enough. Music that hits the soul.

You have to be pretty tight to play this loose. J#Major is the sound of guys who love music and want to share that love with you. The band wears their influences like an old tattoo. Musical journeymen deliver vintage tunes with a fresh sound. This music comes from the heart, striking all the chords of a killer live music experience. It's not about grinding it out in the bars anymore, it's about letting the music flow through you and connecting with the audience in ways you didn't know were possible. So let the band plug in and make that electricity sizzle and spark, touching the musical memories held inside all of us and giving you a night out to remember. Drawing on years of experience, J#Major don't just walk the walk. They rock the rock.

J#Major is FANTASTIC! For anyone looking to book J#major for private events, I would recommend these musicians above any other entertainment. I recently hired the band to play a small private party in my backyard . The show they put on was even better then going to a venue to see them . The volume was perfect and the light show was amazing! It didn't matter if there were 40 guests or just six at the end of the party, the band continued to play enthusiastically! Everyone was so friendly. The range of music was perfect. They really play for the crowd. The talent these guys have is incredible.I can't wait for our next party.

These guys will surprise you the whole night. Whole band is so involved. These guys are extremely unique. Rock out, funk out, mash things up... they do it all, and they do it tight! Definitely a band worth going to see every chance you get!

Unbelievable. As far as Pink Floyd tribute performances go - it does not get better. Bang on. Diamond in the rough - truly impressed. The harmonies, prog rock - much respect for what these guys do. Incredible.

Dude. I've seen clips online obvs, but J# Major blew me away yesterday. So professional, HUGE sound from these dudes. Skilled playing, passion; it was genuinely impressive as a crowd member and motivating as an artist. The song selection had me smiling and grooving for the entire set. Kudos.

Awesome band, great music. It's not just anyone who can play a Stevie Ray Vaughn song well! All were excellent But that guitar - wow!
Reg Kirby
Great talent in this group! Heard them at Ceasar's Windsor and could not step away from the sound.
Annette Vandervoot
Great band. Very professional. Wonderful sound, singing, musicianship... but the best thing: the selection of songs. Their entire setlist is full of songs that you know by heart, have heard a million times, but which nobody else plays. I marvelled at the way the guitarist played the guitar solo for Alan Parson's "Eye in the Sky" note for note... like, why would you learn that? Because it's one of the songs! THAT is great! I thoroughly enjoyed the two sets I saw. Keep it up guys. Onwards and upwards! I will definitely come out again!
